Sætækni ehf or Saetaekni Ltd is an Engineering company with a long experience in fisheries.

Saetaekni Ltd was established in 1997 by Mr. Gunnar Sæmundsson, Mechanical Engineer B.Sc. MBA.

For 15 years prior to that, Mr. Sæmundsson was the Technical Manager for Grandi hf, now HB Grandi hf.

HB Grandi hf is the largest fishing and fish processing company in Iceland that is currently running more than 10 big fishing vessels.

All together Mr. Sæmundsson has about 30 years’ experience.
